Terms of Use
These Terms govern the use of Orion IA, including the orionia.cc website, the Windows app, and connected services.
Last updated and effective: August 9, 2026.
These Terms are also available in Portuguese. If there is any divergence between versions, the Portuguese version prevails.
Important: Orion can perform actions on the computer when authorized. Review each request, keep allowlists restrictive, and back up important data.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By installing, accessing, or using Orion IA, you state that you have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The user must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts. Minors may only use Orion with the authorization and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
2. Service description
Orion is a productivity assistant with features that may include AI chat, voice, document and image analysis, local automation, control of applications, files, backups, sync, and integrations. Availability depends on the plan, device, permissions, region, connection, and external providers.
Experimental, preview, or beta-labeled features may change, have limitations, or be removed.
3. Account and security
- Provide accurate information and keep your data up to date.
- Protect the credentials, tokens, device, and Microsoft account used to obtain the app.
- Do not share access in a way that is inconsistent with your plan or device limit.
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access or lost credentials.
You are responsible for actions taken on your account until you report a compromise, subject to protections provided by law.
4. License to use
As long as these Terms are complied with, Orion grants a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to install and use the app on the devices and within the limits of the contracted plan.
These Terms do not transfer source code, trademarks, models, interfaces, or any other Orion rights. Third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses.
5. Artificial intelligence and computer automation
AI outputs
Responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. They do not replace professional advice and should be reviewed before any legal, medical, financial, accounting, security use, or any decision with significant impact.
Local actions
Orion may interact with the screen, mouse, keyboard, applications, and files only within the available permissions. You must review confirmations, restrict authorized folders and applications, and monitor destructive or irreversible operations.
Orion does not grant authorization to access third-party data or systems. The user must hold legitimate permission over the accounts, equipment, content, and environments used.
6. Permitted use and prohibited conduct
You agree to use Orion lawfully and responsibly. It is prohibited to:
- violate the rights, privacy, intellectual property, or terms of third parties;
- use the service for malware, fraud, phishing, abusive surveillance, intrusion, or unauthorized access;
- bypass limits, authentication, UAC, security mechanisms, or plan restrictions;
- exploit vulnerabilities, impair availability, or interfere with other users;
- submit illegal content or third parties' personal data without a legitimate basis;
- resell, sublicense, or make Orion available as a third-party service without written authorization;
- use AI outputs as the sole basis for decisions that affect a person's rights.
7. Plans, payments, and cancellation
The app may be free to install and offer paid features, subscriptions, or plan-based limits. Prices, taxes, billing frequency, features, and conditions are presented before purchase.
Payments may be processed by Stripe, the Microsoft Store, or another disclosed channel. Cancellations, refunds, and renewals follow the conditions shown at checkout and mandatory consumer rights. Orion may adjust prices for future periods, with prior notice where required.
8. Third-party services
Features may depend on OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, Stripe, Telegram, Spotify, email providers, hosting, or other services chosen by the user. These services have their own terms, limits, and policies.
Orion does not control the unavailability, model changes, restrictions, or independent decisions of these providers, but will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant impacts and offer alternatives when available.
9. Content and intellectual property
You retain any rights you hold over prompts, files, and content you submit, and you grant Orion a limited authorization to process them solely to run the service, protect the platform, and comply with legal obligations.
Ownership of AI-generated outputs may vary according to law and the provider's terms. You should review originality, licenses, and third-party rights before publishing or exploiting an output.
"Orion IA," its visual identity, software, and documentation belong to the publisher or its respective licensors. Nothing in these Terms authorizes use of the trademarks beyond what is necessary to identify the service.
10. Privacy and personal data
Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. The user should avoid entering secrets or third-party data that are not necessary, and must have a legitimate basis for any content submitted.
11. Availability, maintenance, and updates
We strive to keep the service secure and available, but maintenance, internet outages, provider limits, or events beyond our control may cause interruptions. Updates may fix security issues, change the interface, replace models, or adapt the product to legal or Microsoft Store requirements.
The user should install security updates. The Microsoft Store version updates through the Store's own mechanisms; directly distributed versions may use Orion's updater.
12. Liability and legal warranties
To the extent permitted by law, Orion does not guarantee that AI outputs are error-free or that every external service will remain available. The user is responsible for validating results, maintaining backups, and monitoring actions taken in their environment.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, liabilities, or rights that cannot be limited under Brazil's Consumer Protection Code or other applicable law. Any liability will be assessed according to the law, the nature of the harm, each party's involvement, and reasonably available measures.
13. Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or suspended in cases of fraud, security risk, violation of these Terms, legal obligation, non-payment, or use that harms third parties. Whenever reasonable and permitted, we will explain the reason and offer a means to contest it.
You may stop using the service, cancel your plan, and request account deletion. Some information may be retained in the cases provided for in the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
14. Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these Terms to reflect technical, business, or legal changes. Material changes will be communicated and will not retroactively reduce rights already acquired.
The laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil apply. The competent venue will be determined under applicable law, preserving the consumer's right to bring claims in the venue legally guaranteed to them.
